Retreat Clinician Named Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association

(March, 2017) Please join us in congratulating Kurt White, LADC, LICSW, director of Ambulatory Services at the Brattleboro Retreat on his recent election as a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA) this week at their annual conference. This significant honor, which represents outstanding professional competence and leadership capacities, was bestowed in New York City at APGA's annual conference March 6--11.

The Fellowship Committee takes five areas of activity into consideration and expects that candidates have shown excellence and leadership in at least two, one of which must be leadership in AGPA, its Affiliate Societies, and other Group Psychotherapy-related organizations.

During this month when we are celebrating Social Work Month, we are proud to have Kurt represent the Retreat as a social worker and leader in such an esteemed manner.
