Help is just a phone call or mouse click away. The Brattleboro Retreat accepts inpatient admissions 24 hours a day, 365 days of year. Whether you're coming for an outpatient therapy appointment or to be admitted to the hospital, you can feel confident that our caring staff will answer all your questions and help you every step of the way on your path to recovery.
SPECIAL NOTE: In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, all inpatient admissions must first meet criteria for inpatient psychiatric level of care as determined by a crisis screening evaluation. The hospital's inpatient programs continue to serve individuals on a case-by-case basis who present with a secondary substance use disorder (SUD) diagnosis requiring medically managed detoxification from alcohol, prescription drugs, and other potentially dangerous or addictive substances.
- Each person who receives care at the Brattleboro Retreat checks in through the Patient Access Department.
- From there, you will be admitted to the program that is best suited to meet your needs.
