Community Health Needs Assessment

In order to fulfill its legal obligation as mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) the Brattleboro Retreat is required to conduct a community health needs assessment (CHNA) every three years.

This structured CHNA process not only serves as an opportunity to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, but it also constitutes a means to engage communities in the Retreat’s service area, partner with other providers, and learn more about the most pressing mental health and addiction care concerns and needs.
