Psychology Intern

Marysa Clark, MA, is a doctoral psychology intern at the Brattleboro Retreat, and a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at William James College where she received a Masters of Arts in Professional Psychology. She received her BA from Randolph-Macon College in Richmond, VA.

Marysa has received supervision and training in multiple treatment settings including YOU, Inc., Chelmsford, MA public schools; Cornerstone Behavioral Health; and North Shore Counseling Center.

Marysa’s primary theoretical orientations include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Theory.  Her clinical interests include working with patients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

Her research interests includes demographic, personality, and experiential factors that impact individuals’ perceptions of police and law enforcement.
