Hailey McAfee-Scimone

Doctoral Fellow Intern

Hailey McAfee-Scimone (she/her) is a doctoral fellow intern on the Adolescent Inpatient track at the Brattleboro Retreat and PsyD candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at Antioch University New England, where she also received a MS in Psychology. She received her BA in Psychology at Wellesley College. 

 

Hailey has received training and supervision in a variety of settings including public school systems, university counseling, residential treatment, and community mental health. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Hailey’s therapeutic style draws from person-centered, CBT and ACT, and feminist therapies while utilizing a trauma-informed approach.

 

Hailey is passionate about supporting individuals in working toward their most authentic self while navigating complex experiences and emotions. Her research focuses on supporting the development of social-emotional skills during early childhood.
