Hurricane Irene Prompts Safety Alert at Brattleboro Retreat

Although the impact of Hurricane Irene in southern Vermont remains uncertain, the Brattleboro Retreat convened a 9:00 am meeting this morning of members of the hospital's Incident Command Center. The group completed a thorough review of all appropriate safety protocols and is prepared to activate those protocols should weather conditions warrant.

Officials of the Brattleboro Retreat will continue to closely monitor weather conditions as the hurricane approaches this weekend. As always, our objective is to ensure we have a safe facility and hospital environment for our patients, staff and guests.
