What to Expect

Philosophy & Approach

We specialize in meeting the needs of a diverse group of children and adolescents who have experienced difficulty achieving success in public school settings based on emotional needs, behavioral concerns and a history of trauma and/or mental illness. We support students with a broad range of learning styles, cognitive abilities, social skills, and developmental concerns.

Services & Treatment

Services include:

  • classroom education in all core subjects
  • experiential learning opportunities that address social skills, emotion regulation, basic health and wellness, vocational skills, and community service.
  • enrichment classes in art, music, woodworking, and culinary arts.
  • a multidisciplinary team of educational and clinical staff including the principal, clinical manager, special educators, teachers, a reading specialist, therapists, and a group of trained mental health workers.
Aftercare & Stepdown Approach

BRIDGES is committed to supporting students in developing the skills they will need in order to transition back to their sending schools within the shortest time frame possible. We offer both traditional track classrooms as well as intensive needs classrooms to best support students as they work their way through our program and gradually transition back to their sending schools.
