Jeffrey Haines, MD, is a board-certified general adult psychiatrist who received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School. After a year of Internal Medicine, Dr. Haines completed his residency in psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He worked for many years at New Hampshire Hospital in Concord while serving as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Dartmouth.
Dr. Haines' past experience includes work in private practice, community mental health and geriatric psychiatry (his subspecialty). At the Anna Marsh Clinic he sees adults facing an array of emotional, psychiatric and physical challenges as well as major life transitions.
His goal is to help patients identify their individual strengths and talents, while working collaboratively to develop a healing plan. His approach utilizes a holistic recovery model, with medication and mindfulness-based supportive psychotherapy.
