Retreat Golf Tournament Sets Record!

We are pleased to report that the 5th Annual Brattleboro Retreat Golf Tournament, held Wednesday, August 4 at the Brattleboro Country Club, was a HUGE success! The rain stayed away, the sun shone brightly, and it was a terrific summer day for golf. This year we were honored to have more sponsors and more golfers than in any previous year. The tournament brought in more than $65,000--a record! Proceeds from this annual event support therapeutic recreational activities for children at the Retreat—one of the programs that makes the Retreat so unique and special. It was also a great day for many of our key stakeholders and friends to learn more about the important work being done at the Retreat and better connect with our mission.

A giant thanks goes to this year’s platinum sponsor – SODEXO – for their ongoing support of this event. Their generosity is critical to the success of the event. Many thanks also go to the numerous volunteers that put in time and effort to make the tournament such a triumph – particularly those on the golf planning committee and those that volunteer on the day of the event.
