Public Symposium: How the Brain Learns Love

This exciting, in-depth symposium will take place in the Retreat's Education Conference Center on Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 2--4:30 pm. Panelists Lesley Fishelman, MD, Roberta Bennett, MD and Helen Daly, Psy.D. will provide a fascinating look at the connections between the brain, love and the experience of spirit.

Open to the public at no charge. Snow date Sunday, January 10 (same place and time).

Topics will include:

• the concept of neuroplasticity (the ability of the brain to change itself)
• the science behind love and spirituality.

Time will be available to attendees to ask questions and to learn and practice two brain techniques for increasing their capacity to experience positive spirituality and compassion.
