Kirk Woodring

Kirk Woodring returned to the Brattleboro Retreat in February 2008 as the Director of Central Intake and Ambulatory Services (he had worked at the Retreat from 1996 to 1998 as a social worker on the older adult treatment program). Kirk also currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Social Work at Smith College in Northampton, MA.

He is an experienced manager with a clinical specialty in risk assessment. His professional background includes supervision of psychiatric crisis services and consultation for numerous state and national organizations providing crisis debriefings following natural and human-caused disasters.
