Intensive Outpatient Treatment

When you participate in Starting Now's Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) program you are able to live at home and continue with your work, family and other responsibilities. As its name indicates, IOP is an intensive and also a highly supportive level of outpatient care.

Individuals have the opportunity to explore what it means to create a lifestyle of recovery while simultaneously engaging in treatment during a time of great change.

Starting Now offers both morning and evening programs to accomodate your individual needs. The structure of the the two programs varies slightly, though both begin with several group counseling sessions per week and then shift to a less intensive, transitional phase.

The Morning Program:

  • Phase One of the Starting Now Morning Program runs from 9:15 am to 12:15 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday for a total of 20 sessions. This phase lasts approximately five weeks.
  • Phase Two of the Starting Now Morning Program runs from 9:15 am to 10:15 am on Monday and Friday for a total of 10 sessions, This second phase last for another five weeks or so.

The Evening Program:

  • Phase One of the Starting Now Evening Program runs from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, tuesday and Wednesday for a total of 18 sessions. This phase lasts approximately six weeks.
  • Phase Two of the Starting Now Evening Program runs from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Monday and Wednesday for a total of 10 sessions. This phase lasts approximately five weeks.
