Inpatient Services for Children and Adolescents

The Retreat's inpatient programs offer short-term, specialized services for young people with a variety of serious social, emotional, psychiatric or substance abuse problems that have led to disruptive and maladaptive behaviors and relationships. Our specialized, age-appropriate inpatient services include:

• Child Program for ages 4 to 12
• Adolescent Program for ages 13 to 18
• Acute Crisis Stabilization
• Comprehensive Diagnostic Psychiatric Assessment.

Typical Reasons for Referral:

These include depression, suicidality, self-injurious behavior, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, severe anxiety disorders including obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, anger management issues, autism spectrum disorders and chemical dependency.
