Following a national search, the Brattleboro Retreat is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Corrigan as Vice President of Human Resources. Jeff has held the position on an interim basis since October following the retirement of Kathleen Brooks. Jeff comes to the Retreat with some 30 years of experience in healthcare-related human resources processes. A native of Connecticut, he currently resides in Maryland and will launch plans to relocate to southern Vermont in the coming year. In his new role Jeff will also become a member of the Retreat's Executive Team.
"We are delighted that Jeff has accepted the position," said Robert E. Simpson, president and chief executive officer. "He is an example of the consummate professional who posseses a broad and detailed understanding of the activities and goals of the human resource function in a large organization like the Retreat. Jeff has also shown an excellent ability to relate to our employees with compassion and professionalism."
