Annual Public Meeting

The Brattleboro Retreat and Brattleboro Memorial Hospital will hold an annual public meeting in the Brattleboro Retreat's Education Conference Center on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Act 53 requires Vermont hospitals to hold annual public meetings to review the results of the yearly Report (card) to the community by September 30th each year.

This year's speakers will include Dr. Robert E. Simpson, president and chief executive officer of the Brattleboro Retreat, and Barry Beeman, president and chief executive officer of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH). Topics will include the respective strategic plans of both hospitals as well as quality initiatives and a review of hospital services.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend. A question and answer period will be set aside for audience input and questions.
