Adult Partial Hospital

The partial hospitalization and hospital outpatient program (PHP/HOP) offers a treatment opportunity for clients who are struggling with psychiatric issues and/or substance abuse problems. PHP/HOP allows individuals to receive intensive treatment in a less secure setting than inpatient care. Often used as a step down from inpatient care, PHP/HOP is also appropriate for individuals needing more intensive services than traditional outpatient provides. PHP/HOP offers structured programming with a high level of flexibility and further opportunities for individualized treatment.

The treatment philosophy is based on the belief that people are resilient and can make significant changes in how they cope with stress, dramatically improving their overall level of functioning and sense of well-being. Individuals living in the local community have the opportunity to return to their home in the evenings and attend treatment at a pace that fits with their schedule; those coming from a further distance can utilize the private dormitory on Retreat grounds as a housing option.
