Dr. Bill Knorr has been on the medical staff of the Brattleboro Retreat since 1988. He currently serves as Chief of Child and Adolescent Services.
Bill received his medical degree from Temple University Medical School and completed residencies at the University of Iowa (Pediatrics) and the University of Vermont (Adult Psychiatry). He also completed a Fellowship in Child Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Western Psychiatric Institute.
Bill is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. He also holds board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in three disciplines—Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Drug Addiction. He continues to serve as an Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School, a position he has held since 1989.
