Mario Hasaj, MD

Mario Hasaj, MD, is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires Medical School in Argentina. He is board certified in adult psychiatry.

Prior to joining the Retreat Dr. Hasaj worked in New Jersey at both the Jersey City Medical Center and Catholic Community Services primarily in outpatient and partial hospital programs. He has also worked in the psychiatric emergency department at Jersey City Medical Center and provided psychiatric consultation services for Pallisades Medical Center.

He also ran a private practice that focused primarily on providing psychiatric consultations to nursing homes.

Dr. Hasaj's current interests lie in partial hospital and hospital outpatient programs. Under a partnership agreement between the Brattleboro Retreat and Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend, VT, Dr. Hasaj began providing full-time outpatient mental health services at Grace Cottage Family Health in May 2011.
