Kathy Eppel, MD

Dr. Kathy Eppel completed her medical and psychiatric training at the University of Nebraska. Prior to joining the Brattleboro Retreat in June 2012, she practiced adult psychiatry for 14 years in inpatient, outpatient and Veterans Hospital settings.

She also holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in clinical social work. Dr. Eppel serves as the lead psychiatrist in the Birches Treatment Center (the Retreat’s Partial Hospital Program and Hospital Outpatient Program).
