Frederick “Fritz” Engstrom, MD

Frederick “Fritz” Engstrom, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Rochester and is board certified in general psychiatry. He enjoys working with adolescents, adults and seniors, and his expertise includes evaluating and treating people who require medication for problems such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He is also experienced treating people with co-occurring psychiatric and medical illnesses. He teaches extensively at symposia across the country and is known for using film to enliven the learning experience. Dr. Engstrom is also author of the book Movie Clips for Creative Mental Health Education.
