Dorothea DeGutis, MD

Dr. Dorothea DeGutis, a native of Hartford, CT, earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her residency training at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago along with a fellowship at Children's Memorial Hospital, also in Chicago.

Dr. DeGutis is board-certified in general psychiatry and in child and adolescent psychiatry. Before joining the Brattleboro retreat she served as a staff psychiatrist at Community Mental Health Center in Lawrenceburg, IN. In her role at the Retreat, Dr. Degutis sees outpatients at multiple sites including the Anna Marsh Behavioral Care Clinic, Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT, and the Austine School for the Deaf in Brattleboro.
