Debra Lucey, BA, MS, is the Brattleboro Retreat's Vice President of Patient Care Services & Chief Nursing Officer. In this capacity she is responsible for all Adult and Child Inpatient programs, Clinical Education & Nursing Standards, and Pharmacy. Debra has has a keen understanding of the demands of our clinical environment, the intricate complexities of the regulatory environment, and her role as a senior leader in the organization.
Prior to her arrival at the Brattleboro Retreat in July, 2011, Deb served for 8 years as Director of Psychiatric Services for North Adams Regional Hospital. She brings more than 25 years of psychiatric nursing experience to her role including extensive experience in crisis psychiatric patient care assessment and management in the Baystate Health system at Franklin Medical Center.
She holds a master’s degree in psychiatric nursing from the University of Massachusetts and has had a variety of clinical and administrative experiences that demonstrate progressively increasing levels of leadership responsibility.
