Dan Normandeau

After spending 22 years “away”, Dan returned to his home town of Dummerston,VT with his family in 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bates College, and a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Professionally, Dan has a wide range of experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors through diverse roles such as engineering consultant and company founder; operating co-founder of a high-end travel agency specializing in corporate travel; property manager; and Chief Operating Officer of a private operating foundation.  Since 2006, Dan has served as Executive Vice President and COO of The Windham Foundation.
 
Dan was elected to the Brattleboro Retreat Board in December of 2011, and is a member of the Board’s Quality and Performance Improvement Committee. Dan also serves on other boards in the following capacities: Vice President of the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation; Secretary of the Dummerston School Board; and a Director of the Riverledge Foundation.
